This school is dedicated to preserving, spreading and developing the art of Miao Dao practice. Miao Dao (Grain Leaf Sabre) is over 1 m in length and as a result the wielding methods are different and unique from the normal Chinese Dao. Due to its length, spear and double handed techniques were incorporated to enhance combat effectiveness through proper use of the waist. Students can expect to pick up the various skills and methods from this unique tradition of the Han, Ming and Qing periods. This school is headed by Master Ngiam Tong Kheng, who had undergone special training in the 1960s.
